Our Mission
We are an NPO dedicated to protecting the rare wildlife and unique ecosystems of Amami Ōshima and its surrounding islands, and sharing their importance through nature experiences and cultural exchange.
Amami was designated a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site in 2021. As more visitors come to the island, we work with certified guides to promote sustainable tourism that minimizes impact on nature.
